    Scientifically founded

Insole Study – Science & Data

Results from controlled tests with FES Berlin: force transfer, pressure distribution and foot stability compared.

    Key Findings

    Improved Efficiency

Measurable improvement in force transfer through optimised foot stability

    Reduced Pressure Peaks

More even pressure distribution leads to fewer hotspots and numbness

    Optimised Stability

Improved foot guidance reduces unwanted movement and increases control

    Methodology

    How our insoles were tested

    Measurement Setup

Measurements were carried out with professional equipment:

    • Pressure measurement systems to capture load distribution
    • Kinematic analysis of movement patterns
    • Performance measurement under defined conditions

    Test Group

Tests in collaboration with FES and the German national track cycling team as well as additional cyclists of various performance levels. The scientific basis builds on the work of Jens Machacek.

    Procedure

Comparative measurements with and without Winsole insoles under identical conditions.

Scientific lab testing with cyclist on a roller

    Interpretation & Limits

The results shown stem from tests under defined conditions. Individual results may vary and depend on several factors:

    • Individual foot anatomy and fit
    • Shoe setup and cleat position
    • Riding position and biomechanics
    • Training status and experience

An optimal fit is decisive for the best possible results. If in doubt we recommend a consultation with our partners.

    Which solution fits your situation?

Winsole Performance – For riders without discomfort who value stable force transfer and efficiency.

Winsole Comfort – For pressure peaks, numbness, or comfort issues on longer distances.

Winsole Customized – For recurring complaints, asymmetries, or when a custom-fitted solution makes biomechanical sense.
