Niklas Behrens (Visma-Lease a Bike) joins Winsole – Bike Fitting & Carbon Insole

Welcome to the team. Niklas Behrens – reigning U23 Road World Champion 2024 and rider for WorldTour team Visma-Lease a Bike – now rides Winsole carbon custom insoles. He visited Schneider & Piecha''s Center for Movement Analytics for a full bike fitting session and picked up his new setup.

From U23 World Champion to WorldTour – with Winsole under his feet

Niklas won U23 road gold in Zurich 2024 and steps up to the WorldTour. At that level every detail matters – aerodynamics, cadence, sitting position and, above all, power transfer from foot to pedal. That''s exactly where Winsole comes in.

Bike fitting: geometry + foot = one system

During Niklas'' session at Schneider & Piecha, we optimised:

• Cleat position aligned exactly with the metatarsal axis
• Saddle height & offset using dynamic leg-axis analysis
• Foot alignment and leg axis stabilised with the new Winsole Customized Carbon insole

Niklas rides Nimbl Ultimate shoes with SRAM Red and Reserve wheels on his black & yellow Cervélo. Both shoes now hold his personal Winsole Customized Carbon:

• Shape-giving carbon base – stabilises longitudinal and transverse arch
• Up to +44 watts peak power transfer (documented on pros with foot misalignment)
• Fewer hot spots, no compensation movements in the knee
